So I'm pondering writing a Star Trek/Firefly crossover, and go searching on FF.net to see what's been done before. Everything, apparently, but one thing in particular stood out to me. Star Trek/X-Men, anybody?

I've been working my way through Star Trek: TOS, and decided to read some fanfictions. ...I probably shouldn't have done that. This is from a little gem entitled "The What If's In Life."

And it was brilliant as my younger brother put it.  So I decided to look for some fic on the Pit to spork.  I found some interesting summaries:

Why do fic writers insist on doing this to Chekov? WHY?! I admit it; I write OC romances for the original Enterprise crew now and then, but none of them are as Mary-Sue-tastic as this one.
